Safiyeh Salehi Mobarakeh is a firm believer that solutions to the challenges that many individuals, organisations and societies are facing today can be found in ancient tribal knowledge. A life-long learner and researcher, Safiyeh is passionate about empowering a new generation of value-based leadership, through identity empowerment and ancestral wisdom.
Safiyeh is a coveted public speaker, moderator, board member, advisor and mentor, focusing on identity empowerment, feminine leadership and corporate anthropology.
She is also an intercultural, strategic connector with a passion for identifying unforeseen synergies. The art of catalysing international public-private coalitions and complex stakeholder partnerships for social impact innovation runs like a golden thread through her career. Having started her career at the renowned Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA, founded by Rem Koolhaas) and its think tank AMO, laid the foundations for a solid design thinking approach and conviction in diversity of thought as a prerequisite for thriving teams and organisations.
She is the founder of nush:u which encompasses everything that Safiyeh is passionate about: feminine leadership, identity empowerment, cultural heritage, ancestral wisdom and female-agency. nush:u catalyses identity empowered leadership; showing up fully as you are - without compromising. Through keynote speeches, workshops and a uniquely designed mentorship-programme, Safiyeh takes her audience and mentees on a journey to identify their personal values, and multifaceted identity - through uncovering their ancestral heritage.
Born without an immune system, Safiyeh had to overcome many obstacles as a child. Manoeuvring between diverse cultural contexts taught her about social fabric and identity from a young age. Raising her three sons as a solo mother teaches her everything about leadership by example on a daily basis.
